The Faculty of Business and Law is growing and seeks to recruit a Lecturer in Project Management.

The position will require you to undertake teaching, assessment and related activities in the area of Project Management, with essential teaching provision on our Association of Project Management accredited undergraduate and postgraduate awards.

We want you to be able to carry out your work in a way that best supports UON and our students, but also you as an individual. We understand this may vary between different areas of the university as well as from one person to another. About You 

The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching in higher education and we would be particularly interested to hear from candidates with professional experience in project management, work-based learning and logistics.

Modules that the candidate will be expected to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level may include, but are not limited to, modules in project management, logistics, work based learning and related modules.

Qualifications 

Essential;

  • Degree qualification or equivalent in relevant subject.
  • Master’s degree in relevant subject.
  • Professional Recognition as HEA Fellow (D2) or teaching qualification recognised by HESA, or willingness to obtain within an agreed timescale.

Desirable;

  • Doctorate in relevant subject, completed or within 12 months of completion.
  • Relevant professional qualification.
