About the Job
Part time - Fixed term: 22 hours per week until July 2027

The Student Futures' Placements Team provides support, guidance and administrative services for students, academic programme teams and the organisations that provide placement opportunities that are assessed as part of a student's course. The University is seeking an experienced, client focused coordinator to provide professional administrative services. You will be undertaking a range of activities, working with academic teams and organisations providing placements, delivering exceptional services to our students.
We want you to be able to carry out your work in a way that best supports UON and our students, but also you as an individual. We understand this may vary between different areas of the university as well as from one person to another. With Smarter Working you can work with increased flexibility, if you would like to, which can facilitate greater freedom and autonomy.
About You
You will need to be able to follow procedures as well as work using your own initiative. With a proven track record of coordinating administration tasks, you will need to demonstrate success in delivering excellence in customer service. Working alongside other co-ordinators, you will be expected to ensure that your own and team deadlines are met for the areas of responsibility, with a high degree of accuracy. The post requires you to use a range of communication skills, in person , over the telephone and through IT systems and technologies.
Qualifications
Essential:
- GCSE or equivalent vocational qualification (NVQ 3 or equivalent)
