The post holder will be responsible for leading the University's Schools Liaison and Recruitment team, driving the delivery of our UK student recruitment plan and ensuring the key KPIs relating to school and college engagement are met.

You will lead on activity relating to UCAS fairs, delivering HE and subject related sessions in schools and colleges, whilst building on and maintaining an effective network of adviser and gatekeeper contacts in schools and colleges across the region and beyond. The primary focus is to support recruitment objectives whilst being mindful of our Access and Participation Plan commitments too.

About You 

The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of how universities engage and work with schools and colleges to both support pupils Higher Education aspirations and University recruitment.

They will have significant experience of delivering information, advice and guidance relating to university study to schools and colleges and show evidence of how their activities have supported student recruitment objectives.

They will have organised and delivered events in schools and college setting, whilst also having supported University events, such as open days.

Able to work to multiple, tight deadlines the ideal candidate will be organised, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications 

Desirable:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in business / marketing / event management / customer service.
  • Relevant formal training plus track record of experience in similar or related role.
  • Professional qualification through CAM/CIM or related professional body.
